Your Partner in Comprehensive Planning

At the Whaling Wealth Team, we pride ourselves on client-centered wealth management. We know that every client has a unique set of circumstances, priorities, and goals. We provide investment planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and investment research. With regards to our clients, we help ensure that every strategy is tailored to fit each individual person.

About Us

First, we’ll help you determine your individual and family goals. By discussing where you are today compared to where you would like to be in the future, we can ascertain what parts of your current financial plan may hinder your chances of attaining those goals. Finally, after several in-depth conversations, we’ll determine what asset allocation will be appropriate given your desired rate of return and risk tolerance.

Our aim is not to be your first financial advisor, but to be your last financial advisor. As part of our comprehensive approach, we often partner with estate planning attorneys, CPAs, and life insurance, disability, and long-term care providers in order to confirm we have all of the bases covered when it comes to your retirement. We take pride in providing exceptional customer service and forming deep and lasting friendships with our clients. With a strong focus on investment research, we specialize in helping each client achieve their financial goals.

We would love the opportunity to sit down with you for an initial consultation or an unbiased second opinion about your current financial plan. You can learn more about our team by calling our office directly at 210-382-8133 or requesting a welcome packet.

Our Customized Services

Asset Management
When it comes to asset management, we take a holistic approach to diversification. We can and will utilize investment products such as equities, mutual funds, ETF’s, fixed income, commodities, and alternative investments. We spend a significant amount of time finding out what risk and reward expectations are suitable for the client. Having had a relationship with Dave Ramsey for the last 19 years, we pride ourselves on following the fiduciary standard to proper diversification. Every client strategy is customized to the client’s needs.
Estate Planning
When it comes to estate planning, we know that a clear understanding of each client’s goals and priorities is important. From establishing a will to leaving a legacy, we focus on ensuring each client feels confident and ready for their future. We have resources to help in all areas of estate planning, including working with attorneys, CPAs, and insurance specialists. We understand the importance of preparing for the future. We know that trust is needed in the process and we welcome the opportunity to perform.
Investment Research
Not only do we have extensive research and guidance from Raymond James Financial Services, we pride ourselves on helping clients receive quality returns based on their risk tolerance. Asset allocation is only one part of the financial picture. When we perform allocation, we aim to locate the highest performing funds located in their investment discipline. We know exactly how hard you work for your money. We want that money to work hard for you as well.
Investment Planning
Planning is the key to financial success. In life, we pass through several phases, each with different financial requirements. For example, the financial needs of a young married couple are not the same as those of a retired couple. That is why continuous, long-term planning is essential.
