Tennessean Top Workplaces: More than 1,000 companies were invited to participate, 90 were recognized as one of the Tennessean Top Places to work. The Tennessean welcomed anyone to nominate an organization and partnered with Energage, who also reached out to companies. Any employer was eligible, as long as it had at least 5 employees in Middle Tennessee. Employees could be public, private, nonprofit or governmental. Once employers were nominated, employees were asked to fill out an online questionnaire that gave more information about the companies they worked for. Information gathered included issues relating to workplace culture, including Alignment, Connection, Effectiveness, Engagement, Leadership, and the Basics, including pay, benefits, flexibility, training, and expectations. Employers were then ranked among groups of similar size to most accurately compare results, with those that scored high being recognized. Top Workplaces USA: Nearly 40,000 companies were invited to participate and roughly 1,500 were recognized as one of the USA TODAY Top Workplaces for 2025. The publisher welcomed employees to nominate an organization through a survey partnered with Energage. To be eligible, employers must have at least 150 employees in the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam, and could be public, private, nonprofit, for profit, or governmental. Once employers were nominated, their employees were asked to answer questions that gave feedback about the companies they worked for. Travis grew up in Upstate New York, where he learned the value of hard work and keeping things simple. After high school, he joined the U.S. military and served for nine years as an HVAC technician and instructor. His time in uniform shaped much of who he is, instilling discipline, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to serving others.

When his military service ended, Travis knew he wanted to continue helping people, just in a different way. He earned a degree in Finance from LeTourneau University in 2025 and soon joined SageSpring Wealth Partners as a financial associate.

Now, Travis works with individuals and families to make sense of their financial picture, whether that’s planning for retirement, investing wisely, or building a long-term strategy. He’s someone who listens first, asks thoughtful questions, and sticks with his clients for the long haul. For him, the real reward is seeing people gain clarity, confidence, and peace of mind about their future.

When he’s not working, you’ll usually find Travis outside hiking, backpacking, or playing a round of golf. He’s always up for a good challenge, whether it’s on the trail, the course, or in helping someone take the next step with their finances.

Our team members have often been caught taking notes on Jeff’s effortless relationship skills from a distance, and we admire them for striving to learn from one of the best. 

Jeff’s financial expertise and wisdom are the perfect match to his innate people skills. Jeff holds the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChLU®) designations, and has held executive positions with financial planning firms for more than two decades. 

His dedication extends beyond the office to the boardroom and the local community, where Jeff is passionate about giving back. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Men of Valor, a prison ministry and mentoring program. Jeff also serves on the board of Send Musicians to Prison, which shares hope, healing and restoration with the imprisoned through musicians & artists. Jeff actively supports other initiatives in the community by sitting on the board of The Signatry of Middle Tennessee and the Halftime Institute of Nashville. 

Witnessing his four children, Gracyn, Hunter, Tanner, and Logan, excel on the field is almost just as rewarding, if not more, than celebrating the victories of seeing his clients overcome obstacles and build wealth. Spending weekends boating on the lake, hiking mountain trails, and fishing with his family are the moments Jeff cherishes most.
