The Deering Wealth Team is proud to announce the recent promotion of Hannah Patterson from Paraplanner to Financial Planning Professional. Patterson was previously responsible for financial plan development, plan implementation, and money movement. While she will continue to serve clients in this way, her role will expand further into meeting with individuals and families of the Deering Wealth Team.
Moving forward Patterson will be responsible for providing time sensitive financial planning in all areas of the Certified Financial Planning Designation, including general planning, risk management, investments, retirement planning, tax planning, and estate planning. These areas will be complemented by Patterson’s demonstrated history of assisting families with inheritance planning, small business retirement plan management, and comprehensive estate plan reviews.
Since obtaining her designation from the CFP® Board as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Patterson has furthered her depth of knowledge and expertise regarding effective and comprehensive financial planning, and she is committed to understanding and applying complex financial planning concepts while adhering to the highest of ethical standards.
“Hannah has demonstrated her commitment to our clients by continuing to learn and grow in her role,” said Mark Deering, CFP®, Senior Executive Vice President and National Sales Director at SageSpring Wealth Partners and lead financial advisor on the Deering Wealth Team. “Over the last three years, I have watched Hannah grow from her Client Services role by passing the series 7 and series 66 securities industry essential exams, advancing into a Paraplanner role, and earning her CFP® designation. I can’t explain the joy I feel to now see her advance into a client-facing role as a Financial Planning Professional. She continues to bring so much value to the families we serve, and we feel blessed to have her on our team.”
Patterson’s professional growth is a testament to the overall growth of the Deering Wealth Team over the past year. In addition to Patterson’s promotion, the team also hired a new Client Services Associate. Alexandra Rusu began her new role with the team in September after serving as SageSpring’s Front Office Coordinator since April of this year. Rusu is a strategic addition to help the team continue providing excellent client service as Patterson transitions into her new client-facing role in the near future.
“One of the many things I’ve learned as a leader is that in order for your team to grow, everyone needs to grow in their respective roles,” Deering said. “Part of the reason we hired Alexandra was so Hannah could elevate in her role given her remarkable growth over the years. Now we are working on putting Alexandra’s professional development plan into action so we can focus on her growth as well. Our emphasis on professional development among our team always goes back to our clients – we are always striving to be the best financial planning team we can be for the families we serve.”
One of SageSpring’s core values is to develop students and leaders. The Deering Wealth Team’s growth is a great example of this important value being lived out at SageSpring Wealth Partners.
